I never fail to be amazed,
By the misery,
As though life,
Were more convincing,
Resonating like a blade.
I’d been through it
In my mind.
All of it fuses in me,
With such intensity.
I was sure
I’d tear apart in it,
This amputating,
This assailing,
This self slashing torment,
Hidden in the shadows
Of the night,
Until it is erased
And ceases to exist.

True Feelings
I slowly wait
In this pit of darkness
Lost inside myself
Wishing for someone
The desire to be saved
To get a grip
On my humanity
Yearning for attention
For someone to see me
For who I am
Waiting,
Craving,
For a helping hand
To pull me up
And into the LIGHt
