How You Met….
You met L at Wammy House. Originally, you were meant to be backup, in case something were to happen to L. But, soon after this decision, it was realized that you had exactly the same intelligence level as L. It was decided you would work together. When you were both 16, you started to realize you loved each other, but being the anti socialites you are, you didn’t admit it to each other until about a year later.
Now….
You type rapidly on the delicate little laptop, searching for evidence through the footage taken of FBI agent Raye Pember. L came up behind you, holding the suicide notes left behind by the prisoners who seemed to have been used as test subjects by Kira.
You brush a lock of hair behind your ear.
“Find anything?” you ask him.
“There’s a message hidden in the notes.”
You take them from him delicately and look over them.
“L….did you know Gods of Death love apples?”
“Any idea what it means?” he asks you pointedly.
You shake your head slightly.
“No….the only thing I can think of are Shinigamis….But they can’t be real, can they?”
He sighs heavily, “I really don’t know….Kira seems to be killing in supernatural ways, so why should we not think of Shinigamis.”
You check your watch. 3:56 am.
You go over to the bed you and L share, and collapse out of exhaustion. L lies down next to you.
“L?”

“….Why won’t you tell the public that there is more than one L?”
He sighs, “I don’t want to put you in any danger…”
He wraps his arms around you, and brings you close to his chest.
“Can I tell you something?” he inquires of you.

Those words immediately bring tears to your eyes. You want to tell him not to do anything ridiculous like that, but you can’t choke the words out. Instead, you press your lips against his collarbone softly. His arms around you tighten, and he kisses your neck. You pull his face up and kiss him passionately. He’s pins you down on the bed, gently running his hands down your waist. You tear his shirt off, and run your hand down his chest. He unbuttons your shirt, and, well…….
Future
When you see L crash to the ground, the world seems to stop. It’s in that instance you know Raito Yagami is Kira. He runs to L’s side, and you’re the only one who catches a glimpse of his expression. Triumph. You run to L’s side, pushing Raito away in the process. You crouch protectively over him, not letting anyone near him, except when they needed to put him on the stretcher. Despite the hospital’s best efforts, there is no way to resuscitate him. You plan to commit suicide, but realize you’re pregnant. You join Near to continue the Kira investigation. After capturing Kira, you plan take your own life, just like L would do for you. But then you realizeit would be terrible for your child to grow up with neither a mother or a father, and stay alive, knowing it’s the right thing to do.
