Quiz.The Gaming Louge... Hey..Welcome to my little corner known as the gaming lounge. If you haven't guessed, this is where I devote tiny blurgs of games that I have played recently (or not...depends...) Anway..this is just the ranting of a gamer so if ya want to comment, don't care...however, don't be surpised if I answer back. ^^ It could go either way..but enough of the background info. Enjoy.><Final Fantasy: Crisis Core><Ok...so I just got done playing Crisis Core for the PSP. OMG! For any die-hard fan of the original Final Fantasy VII game, this prequel is for you! This game is also great for non-fans of the game, as it has a great complex structure of action, drama, and suspense...all to keep the player interested!
The music was great too...once again, I'm left speechless at the awesomeness of the legendary Nobuo. Now for the characters, this game was great in explaining in detail about Zack, Cloud's mentor and how he came into possession of the buster sword. It also fully details the events that happened in Neibelheim..events that, for a long time, were debatable and unclear. Have to say though...after seeing the entire thing, my respect for Sephiroth has been destroyed. Not that I don't feel for him, but he could have made a better choice than freaking out and going insane like that. He's still smexy...guess that counts for something. lol.
Speaking of which, you also get to see what Cloud acted like before becoming cold and "dead". He's actually a shy, cute guy. Now Zack...I love that guy more than ever now! Spunky..energetic..and tragic. The ending where *caution/spoilers* he dies made me bawl the first time I saw it. I still cry even now from time to time, when I listen to the music or see it again...*sniffle* And I don't care what anyone else thinks, I believe that he IS a hero!
All in all, though, it was a HUGE success in the gaming world and in my book...so much now that I want to go out and buy Dirge of Cerberus.lol. We'll see how that goes..anyway, thanks for reading and I'll check in later. Happy to announce that I am going to go to Kumoricon this year! YAY!! ^_^ This being my first anime convention ever, I am VERY excited! So much in fact that I'm counting down the days...granted there is still like 6 months till I go... T.T I wanna go now!! Anyway, since it's my first time, thought I'd do what any other anime-crazed fan would, COSPLAY! Yep...that's right...I'm cosplaying. AS CLOUD STRIFE!
You might know this guy from the Final Fantasy 7 series..blonde spikey hair that defies all gravity and such. lol. Yep, I am attempting this legendary character and hope to actually do my best (I want my picture to be taken!!). I'll keep ya updated with the costume and such...biggest part now is to put it together. But that's no problem! I will persevere!! n.nUpdate>*<5/11/09
Well, currently my costume is materializing bit by bit..though I have to admit that there isn't a specific order to the chaos unfolding. With school...work...social life...kinda stuck at a stand-still right now. Good news is that I found someone to carve the buster sword for me! (beats having to dish out $200 for a crappy one) So I'm happy. ^_^ Only problem is that it's heavy! x.x Oh well...
I also got a sewing machine for my birthday, so that will help me greatly since I'm having to redo Cloud's shirt. (the other one was too streched out and didn't look good) The new one will look better...with the zipper professionally sewed in..and also, it will give me an excuss to redo the leather arm piece again..(other one itches..x.x)All I have to worry about now is having to figure out how to actually use the thing.lol.
So...all in all.. I think I'll finish with the main components of the costume before moving on and finishing the buster sword. I'll keep ya'll updated...so until then! My Best Friends...Thought I'd try this since the rest of my friends already have something similar.lol.
