About Me

Hi, if you haven't already guessed, my name is Andrew. I'm a crazy, self-described evil genius and hopeless romantic. I'm majoring in physics and like designing everything from jet-propelled hovercraft and kids' water guns to doomsday weapons and interstellar spacecraft. Incidentally, my main reason for being here is to meet new people and possibly make a few friends while I'm at it, so don't hesitate to add me or strike up a conversation if you feel like it. There's plenty more to tell, but this is all I'd care to say about myself at the moment. If it's not enough, try talking to me. I'll be more forthcoming if you do.

My friends and I play this game where we try to come up with the three anime characters who, together, best represent someone's personality. These three, Lelouch Vi Britannia, Tyki Mikk, and Death the Kid, were the ones we'd decided on for me.

My personality type:
INTP
Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving

INTPs are quiet, thoughtful, analytical individuals who don't mind spending long periods of time on their own, working through problems and forming solutions. INTPs tend to be less at ease in social situations and the 'caring professions,' although they enjoy the company of those who share their interests. They also tend to be impatient with the bureaucracy, rigid hierarchies, and politics prevalent in many professions, preferring to work informally with others as equals. INTPs' extraverted intuition often gives them a quick wit, especially with language, and they can defuse the tension in gatherings by comical observations and references. They can be charming, even in their quiet reserve, and are sometimes surprised by the high esteem in which their friends and colleagues hold them.

Benawi is a badass. Seriously, don't just take my word for it, watch Utawarerumono and then just try to tell me I'm wrong.

Being an asshole, not talking much, and having a general air of apathy or contempt for everyone around them seems to be a good way for characters to become popular (especially with the fangirls), just look at these guys (are we seeing a pattern here?)... But then, I suppose it only works if, like Sesshomaru, Kanda, and Byakuya, they're tough enough to back up that attitude.

This is Raven. All your base are belong to him.

Death the Kid and Kitsu Chiri: If these two ever met, they'd probably hit it off very well... that is, right up to the point when their combined OCD proved too great a strain on the fabric of reality and caused some crazy, End of Evangelion type crap to happen and the world came to an end... But they'd get along great until then.

Image
Tyki Mikk, perhaps the most awesome villian of any anime... period.

Image
All hail the great and powerful Haruhi-sama!

Image
I want one of these... Very badly.

Here's a picture of me with my naginata... need I say more?

I'm contemplating my super evil plan... MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Oh, and here I am cosplaying as Wesker (Resident Evil 1 outfit) at Animazement 2008. My friends convinced me to do it saying we'd all go as characters from Resident Evil games, but none of them had the time to finish their outfits, so I was the only one who showed up in costume. (I still can't believe they managed to talk me into that.) It was my only time at a convention, but it turned out to be pretty fun, so I think I might go again at some point.

Image
I'm very proud of my dog, Cleopatra (just Cleo for short). Cleo may be just a mutt, but she's easily one of the best looking dogs I've ever seen (granted, I'm probably a bit biased in that regard). She follows me everywhere and never lets me out of her sight (as far as Cleo's concerned, I guess I'm "daddy"). I really don't think I could ever ask for a better dog.

What Creature are you?
My Results:
Image
Ryuu, The Dragon
You are highly intelligent in battle and use strength, agility, and your experience to pull you through. You hate to work in groups, thinking others are just a burden and will get in the way. You're hardly social and hate to lose, you seem cocky and a little over confident if you ask me. You don’t care if its night or day, it’s not important.

Image
You cannot deny that Hitsugaya is the coolest captain. (Sorry about that horrid pun, I couldn't resist.)

Image
It seems that I've taken a lot of heat over the years for being an Asuka fan, but let's be honest here. Rei has no personality to speak of and Shinji's even worse; that spineless, self-pitying, cowardly, useless, idiotic wimp! Given the choices, I'd take Asuka's superiority complex any day.

Image
An overly feminine pedophile with pasty skin, a tiny nose, and long, dark hair? I don't see the connection. But seriously, Orochimaru can't be Michael Jackson because Michael Jackson didn't have a tongue like Gene Simmons'.

Image
It still to drives me up the wall that I can't figure out whether Chrona is male or female... Either way, he/she/it is just plain awesome.

Image
Screw the nukes, bring out the Death Saurer!

Image
What did you say your name was again?

Image
I really liked Clannad, but it freaked me out a bit because it was so similar to my life. Just about every character in that show reminds me of someone I know. For example, Sunohara is way too much like my best friend, Chris. A lot of the time, when I listen to Okazaki and Sunohara, it sounds just like conversations that Chris and I have had... I should probably be concerned by this, shouldn't I?

Image
Insanity... No laughing matter.

I'm in despair! Anivide has left me in despair!
