Well, we'd be able to get much the same view from most of our galaxy, as long as we were this far out. Toward the center, things are crowded with gas, dust, and stars, but those same conditions make the stars very massive and short lived. It's a very chaotic place, where planets, if they form at all, would still be molten balls of rock when their stars explode. Only in quieter, more stable parts of the galaxy can planets remain habitable long enough for complex life (not to mention intelligent life) to develop. So really, it's not surprising that we live in a place with such a nice view of the rest of the universe, considering that those conditions may very well be prerequisite to our existence at all. If our planet were in a less perfect place to observe the universe, we wouldn't exist to know the difference.

all i got to say is that this universeis way is way to big for just us so there got to be other life forms out there and i kind if belive in an old saying "if there are other life forms out there there smart enough they will stay away"cause if we cant stop fighting and conquing our own land and people y would they come here u know

I like to believe that aliens are real. The universe is huge, so there's a possibility. I doubt they will contact or share some technology with us on earth though. xD

There's no way of knowing for sure, but factors do seem to favor the possibility of life somewhere else besides on our mother earth. It would be awesome if we could ever find proof, but as technology is today, I think that is unlikely. Perhaps some future generation will find them out there, waiting and watching just as we have been for the past few decades.
